Custom publishing penetrates message clutter

Most of these messages are ads that whiz by unnoticed because humans deal with clutter the only way they can: by blocking it out. The stuff that penetrates that defense line is either inundating every channel or its standing out with clever, useful, interesting or otherwise stimulating content.
